In his final year of law school he worked in the area of eminent domain.

Stephen has also appeared in many civil cases ranging from rather small cases to million dollar claims. Stephen also handles a variety of criminal defense matters for the firm in felony, misdemeanor and traffic courts.

Stephen received his J.D., cum laude, from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Before law school, Stephen earned his B.A. from the University of Dallas, with a major in history and a minor in German, graduating summa cum laude.
