A woman has sadly lost her life in a car crash in Danville. Meanwhile, two people have been injured in the unfortunate wreck. The collision, which involved two cars, took place on a recent Sunday evening.
Events leading up to the crash
The tragic car accident took place at about 7:25 p.m. According to authorities, a car that was carrying an 89-year-old woman collided with another car along United States Route 150. The female passenger ended up passing away as a result of the impact of the wreck.
Police reported that the individuals driving both cars survived the crash. However, they suffered serious injuries and were therefore transported to a local hospital. Authorities shut down the collision site for around five hours as they investigated the crash.
